Police Search for Bronx Teens Who Allegedly Robbed Livery Cab Driver

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a group of teenagers they say beat and robbed a livery cab driver in the Bronx.

Investigators say on January 30, the driver picked up four teens, two boys and two girls, from Lincoln Hospital and drove them to Manida Street in Hunts Point.

When they got there, police say one of the boys punched the driver in the head and grabbed money from the front seat.

Two other suspects showed up and assaulted the driver.

He ran off and the rest of the suspects took his cell phone and the camera from his car.

The driver refused medical treatment at the scene.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit http://ift.tt/17IHIZe.
