A new poll shows that Mayor Bill de Blasio’s approval rating has fallen in the last two months.
A new Quinnipiac University poll gives the mayor a 45 percent approval rating, with 34 percent of New Yorkers polled saying they disapprove of the mayor’s work.
A previous poll released in January showed that 53 percent of New Yorkers approved of the Mayor and only 13 percent did not.
De Blasio has been criticized for his handling of back-to-back snowstorms, the call he made to the New York City Police Department on behalf of a political ally and his decision to block certain charter school co-locations.
