On April 23, 2014 at approximately 1705 hours police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious male at 20 Richman Plaza in the confines of the 46 Pct. Upon arrival police discovered a male 9 unconscious on top of scaffolding at the location. A 9-year-old boy died Wednesday after plummeting from a Bronx apartment and landing on scaffolding, cops said.


Distraught witnesses said the child fell from a window on the 26th floor of the River Park Towers on Richman Plaza.


“Two guys were shouting ‘Oh s—! A body! A body!’ I looked up and I saw. He landed on the scaffold,” said Marlene Mevlin, 34, a mother of three who lives in the University Heights building.
