A man and woman leaped together off the George Washington Bridge on Monday morning, police said.
They were pulled out of the river alive and rushed to St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, sources said.
Witnesses told police they saw both jumpers leap from the New York side of the bridge. The couple appeared to be in their 40s or 50s, sources said.
The woman washed ashore at the West 125th Street Pier. The NYPD’s harbor patrol responded at about 11:20 a.m. and fished the body out of the water.
The man was found a short time later, cops said.
