A police officer is facing charges after prosecutors say he had child pornography.
Yong-Fa Wu was arrested and arraigned Monday.
Prosecutors say he was caught on April 1 sharing at least 60 pornographic files over a peer-to-peer network.
Investigators say they looked at his computer and found videos of girls as young as 12 having sex with adults.
The 34-year-old is charged with seven counts of promoting a sexual performance of a minor and seven counts of possession.
Neighbors said they’re shocked.
“That’s true. I see him around gardening, taking care of his house, taking the garbage out. Sometimes I see him, I say hell, but he’s so quiet,” said one neighbor. “Nobody knows what people are doing behind closed doors.”
Bail was set at $ 50,000.
Wu is due back in court on May 15.
There is no word if he’s been reassigned or suspended from the force.
His attorney declined comment.
