Police car slams biker in Queens

Two cops rushing to a report of a robbery in Queens hit a motorcyclist Sunday, police said.


There were no severe injuries in the 12:45 p.m. crash on Farmers Blvd. near 120th Ave. in St. Albans, cops said.


Medics brought the officers to North Shore-Long Island Jewish Hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries. The biker, who was not identified, was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition, police said.


A police source said the cop car had its lights and sirens on, and possibly went through a red light.
