A bicyclist died in Brooklyn Wednesday after being struck by a motorist who subsequently hit two other vehicles before ditching his BMW and fleeing on foot.

The bicyclist, a 46-year-old man whose name has not been released, was rolling through the intersection of Broadway and Halsey St. on the border of Bushwick and Bedford-Stuyvesant when the BMW driver rammed into him about 7:50 a.m., police said.

The guy behind the wheel of the red 2014 BMW kept on driving and hit an unoccupied parked car before turning onto Thomas S. Boyland St., where he shot south for a few blocks and then struck a Toyota 4-Runner as its driver pulled out of a driveway near Chauncey St., police said.

The motorist then ditched the damaged BMW and ran off.

The bicyclist, who suffered a severe head wound, was taken by ambulance to Woodhull Hospital but did not survive, police said.

Two occupants of the Toyota 4-Runner were also taken to Woodhull Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The BMW driver remained at large as of Wednesday afternoon. Police did not release of description of the man.
