Three people were injured after a fire broke out in an apartment building in Brooklyn.
The fire started just before 11 a.m. Saturday on the second floor of a building in Clinton Hill.
The FDNY says one person was injured after jumping out of the window to escape the flames.
Two others were taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
“We got here within like two minutes. Fire lasted about 20 minutes. No firefighter injuries just three civilian injuries at this time,” said Batallion Chief B.C. Rozas.
“The fire truck they got the ladder, put it up to the window. That’s when they got the babies out, the kids, the grown people,” said a witness.
There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.
