Police are searching for a prisoner who they say escaped from a police car in Brooklyn.
Police say 26-year-old Darnell Thomas was arrested for criminal mischief.
They say he got away around 6:30 p.m. Monday near Atlantic Avenue and South Portland Avenue.
At the time of the escape, he was wearing a white shirt and jacket with gold zippers.
