Police have arrested a man accused of attacking a woman on the L train.
Jasner Jimenez, 24, was arrested and charged with felony assault.
Police say the attack happened last Saturday afternoon while the train was stopped in the Lorimer Street station.
Police say Jimenez got into an argument with a 54-year-old woman after she made a comment about the woman he was with hitting his child.
Jimenez followed the woman into a different car once the train began moving again, hit the victim’s head against one of the metal subway poles and threw her onto the floor.
He fled the scene.
The victim suffered from bruising and swelling to the head.
