Police Investigate After Three People Shot While Waiting for Bus

Three people are recovering after getting shot at a bus stop in Brooklyn.

Police say it happened around 10:40 p.m. Saturday on Malcom X Boulevard in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section.

They say a car may have pulled up to the stop and started firing.

A 64-year-old man, a 25-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were taken to the hospital.

A friend of one of the victims described the scene.

“I dont know. I was upstairs. My friend came to see me, and leave last night, about—I can’t remember what time he left. But he came out to catch the bus. After he came to catch the bus, two minutes after he called the phone house back and said he just got shot. We came outside, saw him on the sidewalk. We called the cops and that’s about it,” the friend said.

All three victims are said to be in stable condition.

Police are still investigating the incident.
