Teen WTC Climber Gets 23 Days Community Service

The teenager who admitted to sneaking into the World Trade Center earlier this year has been sentenced.

Justin Casquejo pleaded guilty in July to a city misdemeanor of scaling a large building without permission.

The court sentenced Casquejo to 23 days of community service, which they say he has already served.

The 16-year-old was arrested in March after he climbed to the top of 1 World Trade Center and spent two hours on the roof.

A security guard caught him on his way down.

Another security guard at the site was fired after it was discovered that Casquejo slipped by him.

Court papers say he was able to enter the tower through a gap in the construction fence.
