Natalya Sokolson claims she only responded to Lawrence Scott’s sexts because she feared for her job — but the school district still wants her banned from teaching for life.

A Brooklyn public school teacher vowed Tuesday to fight to save her job after being caught in a sexting sandal with a man assigned to investigate misconduct charges against her.

Richard Condon, commissioner of special investigation for the New York City School District, recommended Tuesday that Natalya Sokolson be booted and banned for life from teaching.

Condon said an investigation revealed that Sokolson, 44, a teacher at Public School 329 in Coney Island, engaged in an 11-month sexual-texting relationship with former investigator Lawrence Scott.

Scott resigned last year after admitting sexting with Sokolson, including texting her a photo of his penis. Sokolson claimed Scott, 40, began sending her lurid messages in November 2012 while he was investigating her on charges of mistreating students and insubordination.

She claims she only returned his texts, including sending him semi-nude photos of herself, because she feared losing her job. “She has no intention of resigning and she will fight all charges,” said Sokolson’s attorney Peter Gleason.
