Ke$ ha‘s fans are apparently blaming her music producer for the “Tik Tok” singer’s eating disorder and rehab stint.

Dr. Luke, who is known for his work with today’s biggest pop stars such as Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus, has been the target of death threats on Twitter from angry Ke$ ha fans, TMZ reports.

Los Angeles police have reportedly filed legal documents asking for a search warrant to track down Twitter users who have issued explicit death threats against the 40-year-old producer, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald.

Ke$ ha’s mother, Pebe Sebert, told People magazine that the 26-year-old singer, who is currently in rehab for anorexia and bulimia, was near death before seeking help.

“I’ve watched my beautiful, self-confident, brilliant daughter be berated and ridiculed for her looks and weight to the point that she almost died,” she told the mag.

Dr. Luke was apparently one of the bullies. He told her she looked “like a f–king refrigerator,” a friend of the singer told TMZ.

In response, the music producer has been faced with threats from angry, anonymous social media users vowing to “slit” and “carve” him — among other things. The vile Twitter threats even included his home address and phone number, according to TMZ.

Cops are taking the threats seriously, the website reports.
