Five people were injured in two separate motorcycle accidents in Queens on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, cops said.
In Astoria, two men in their 20s on the same bike were hit by a 2003 Infiniti near the intersection of 28th Ave. and 34th St. at 7:15 p.m., cops said.
The victims were taken to Elmhurst Hospital in critical and serious condition but were expected to survive their injuries, cops said.
The driver of the car stayed on the scene and was arrested for not having a Breathalyzer device attached in the vehicle as required after a previous arrest, cops said.
Then shortly before 5 a.m. in Forest Hills, a 31-year-old man heading east on Union Turnpike on a Honda motorcycle with a 20-year-old woman on the back collided with a Honda Accord at the intersection of Woodhaven Blvd., police said.
The motorcycle operator was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition. Emergency responders brought the passenger to Jamaica Hospital, where she was in stable condition. The driver of the car, a 26-year-old man, was brought to Elmhurst in stable condition.
