Man Critically Injured in Hell’s Kitchen Scuffle, Attacker Sought



A man is in critical condition after being punched in the face during an argument Tuesday in Manhattan.


Police say the victim was assaulted following an argument with another man around 6:30 p.m. near the corner of West 55th Street and Ninth Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen.


He fell to the ground and hit his head on the pavement, suffering a serious head injury.


Investigators say the two men did not know each other prior to the incident.


The attacker is described as being in his 30s, 5’10″ tall and weighing 170 pounds.


He has curly blonde hair and was last seen wearing a turquoise t-shirt, blue shorts and gray sneakers.
