NYPD cops investigate the scene at 26th Ave. and Shore Parkway where at least one person was shot and blood was spilled onto the sidewalk near unopened baby shower gifts.
Shots were fired during a baby shower in Brooklyn late Saturday, sending at least two people — but not the mom-to-be — to the hospital, officials and witnesses said.
The happy affair held by a Coney Island family at the Excelsior Yacht Club on Shore Parkway ended in gunfire at about 11 p.m. Saturday, witnesses said.
“There was a shooting,” one woman confirmed as she and other guests packed unopened shower gifts into an awaiting livery cab.

A stream of blood ran into the street next to colorfully wrapped presents, one with a teddy bear peeking out, and a package of diapers. Officials said a man was shot in the arm.
At least one shooting victim took himself to Coney Island Hospital for treatment, according to a preliminary report. Paramedics were also called to the marina to assist a woman with difficulty breathing. She was ultimately taken to Coney Island Hospital for treatment, according to an FDNY spokesman.
