Police say 25-year-old Mervyn Spann was found fatally shot in his home in Brownsville. Police did not have a suspect as of Wednesday morning.

A 25-year-old man was shot to death late Tuesday during an apparent drug deal in his Brooklyn home, authorities said.

Mervyn Spann was found with a bullet wound to the chest about 11 p.m. in his E. 96th St. home in Brownsville after what looked like a drug-related robbery, police said.

He was pronounced dead on arrival at nearby Brookdale University Hospital.

Cops had no suspects and had made no arrests early Wednesday.

Police sources said Spann had a lengthy rap sheet with 10 arrests, including an assault charge he received when he was a juvenile. Eight of the arrests are sealed, sources said.
