Manhattan



A Manhattan thief has robbed at least six livery drivers at gunpoint in Harlem, authorities said.


In each incident, the suspect hails a cab and asks to be taken to West 141st Street and Chisum Place, near where it is believed he lives.


At the destination, he pulls a gun and takes cash and property from the driver.


He first struck at around 4 a.m. on Nov. 16 when he hailed a cab in the University Heights section of The Bronx.


At the destination, he took $ 125 and a cellphone from the driver, cops said.


He pulled off five other similar robberies since then, most recently robbing a driver of $ 120 and car keys at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.





A thief burglarized an Upper East Side church, authorities said.


He walked into St. Stephen of Hungary on East 82nd Street at around 4:30 p.m. Monday, made his way to a back office and stole an iPhone and $ 20 from a wallet, cops said.




A brute who fatally shot a 30-year-old man was arrested in Chinatown, cops said.


Christopher Del Rosario, 19, shot George Taliferro, 30, near the Brooklyn Bridge at St. James Place and Madison Street on Nov. 10, according to cops.


After he was apprehended, cops were able to link him to a shooting in May just around the corner from the slaying site, police sources said.


He was charged with murder and possession of a loaded firearm, cops said.


The Bronx



A thief broke into a South Bronx apartment building and stole more than $ 4,000 worth of goods, police said.


On Nov. 15, the robber picked a lock and entered an apartment on East 147th Street near Southern Boulevard and snatched cash, clothes, a TV and watches valued at $ 4,600, cops said.





A thief assaulted an elderly woman in Morris Park, cops said.


The 76-year-old victim was strolling near Amethyst Street and Morris Park Avenue at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday when the brute, in his 30s, approached from behind, pushed her down and snatched her purse.


The victim suffered a lip laceration but declined medical attention at the scene, cops said.


Brooklyn




Robbers held up a liquor store at gunpoint in Clinton Hill, cops said.


The four suspects, two of whom were brandishing weapons, walked into Pratt Liquor Store Inc. on Washington Avenue near Myrtle Avenue at 10 p.m. on Oct. 30, according to police.


They made off with about $ 1,500 in cash and lottery tickets, cops said.


Staten Island


Two brutes wrested away an elderly man’s cane in Port Richmond, assaulted him with it and stole his money, according to a Criminal Court complaint.


The victim was walking along Castleton Avenue at about 11 p.m. on Nov. 21 when Joshua Klein and an as-yet unapprehended cohort approached him and started assaulting him, the complaint states.


One of the attackers grabbed the man’s cane and smashed it over his head, knocking him to the ground, cops said.


Klein and his partner then dug through the victim’s pockets, stole an unknown sum of cash and fled the scene.


Klein was arrested and charged with robbery and grand larceny.
