A Bronx man is in custody after lighting his girlfriend’s bedroom on fire — hours after she refused to give him cash.
Foxhurst resident Joshua Dunlap, 29, was arrested Friday, nearly a month after threatening to torch his 51-year-old girlfriend’s Staten Island home during a phone call Feb. 7.

“If you don’t give me money I’m going to burn your s–t down,” Dunlap said hours before setting fires at the home.
Dunlap, who used to live with the victim, used his key to enter her second-floor Vanderbilt Ave. home. When she returned, she found fire damage to her bedroom and hallway.
Surveillance footage captured Dunlap, who lives at 980 Prospect Ave., near the Staten Island building, according to court documents. Dunlap was charged with aggravated harassment, arson, burglary and criminal mischief. He is being held on $ 100,000 bail. His next court date is Thursday.
