The city may have dodged a major round of snow this time, but low temperatures will be affecting the city for most of the week.
Commuters in Brooklyn and Manhattan on Monday had just a light dusting to deal with for the morning commute to work and school.
While some say they’re glad to not see any more snow, they’re just as fed up with the cold.
“I can deal with like, still cold, like 20 degrees no weather, but when they start adding the wind, the snow — I’m through with it, I’m ready for a little bit of sun now,” said one New Yorker.
“It’s just freezing cold, you don’t even wanna go outside,” said another New Yorker.
At LaGuardia Airport, some flights are being cancelled, but not as many as during other recent storms.
Alternate side parking rules were also suspended Monday, but meters are still in effect.
So far, the city has seen 57.3 inches of snow, making it the seventh snowiest winter season ever recorded locally.
Last month alone the Big Apple got 29 inches of snow, making it the second snowiest February on record as well as the fifth snowiest month overall.
