The suicides took place in Brooklyn and Syosset.

A 56-year-old man jumped to his death from a four-story building in Brownsville at about 7 p.m. Wednesday, cops said.

His death was the city’s second suicide in as many days, authorities said.

The victim was rushed from the building on Thomas Boyland St. to Brookdale University Hospital, where he died a short time later, cops said.

On Tuesday, a Manhattan trader leaped in front of a Long Island train. Edward Reilly, 47, a trader at The Vertical Group, jumped into the path of the Long Island Rail Road train as it came into the Syosset station at about 6 a.m., according to officials.

“Eddie was a great guy, we are very upset and he will be deeply missed,” company CEO Robert Schaffer said of the East Norwich, Long Island, man.
