More money is on its way to help Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency says more than $ 22 million has been allocated to the city to help pay for debris removal, repairs and measures to protect against future storms.
The money will go toward reimbursing city agencies for their post storm work.
FEMA has so far awarded $ 2.4 billion in public assistance grants in the state.
