Police Service Area 2 in Brownsville in Brooklyn, where a police officer accidentally shot himself Monday.
A Brooklyn cop accidentally shot himself in the arm as he tried to secure his gun in a stationhouse locker room Monday morning, police said.
The 52-year-old Housing Bureau officer was rushed to Brookdale Hospital in a police vehicle. He was treated for a gunshot wound to the left bicep and was later listed in stable condition.

Police officials did not release the name of the 18-year veteran but said he had just finished the overnight shift at Police Service Area 2 in Brownsville when the mishap occurred.
He was by his locker when he accidentally fired his gun. There were no other injuries.
