A woman told cops she was sexually assaulted in Central Park early Sunday, police said.
The woman, whose age wasn’t released, met up with her attacker in front of a church near 88th St. and Second Ave. around 3:20 a.m., cops said.

The NYPD is hunting for a suspected rapist who attacked a woman in Central Park. Surveillance video show them together before the attack.
The pair walked into the park at East 100th St. and the victim told police the man pulled her into a wooded area and sexually assaulted her around 4:45 a.m.
She went to Mount Sinai Hospital in a private vehicle for treatment, police said.

There is also video which takes place after the attack showing the man nervously walking alone, repeatedly checking over his shoulder.
The woman told cops she fought back and cops were looking for evidence under her fingernails, a source said. They were also searching for jewelry or clothing that belonged to her alleged attacker.
“Everybody has to be careful and watch their back,” said parkgoer Andrew Wier, of the Upper East Side.

Police on the scene said the woman was coming from her home in Washington Heights. It wasn’t clear where she was going.
