You may leave this steamy book reading with a shiny new sex toy.

Park Slope sex shop Babeland is set to host an inaugural literary series dubbed “Books in Babeland,” which kicks off Friday inside the kinky Bergen St. boutique.

“I love the idea of a literary event in an unexpected place,” said local blogger Louise Crawford, 55, who is curating the sexy event. “We’re going to be exploring books with sexual themes or exploring sexual writing that might take place in unexpected places as well.”

For the inaugural reading Crawford has recruited award-winning poet Diana Raab, author of “Lust,” and Nicole Callihan, author of “SuperLoop,” to read excerpts from their erotic books next to shelves of lube, bondage, and vibrators.

There will be cocktails and champagne served at the over-21 event, which Crawford plans to put on five times a year.

“Books in Babeland” book reading series at Babeland, 462 Bergen St. in Park Slope, 718-638-3820, on Mar. 7 at 7 p.m.
