Yayun Weng (center), accused of beating her young son with a bamboo stick, tears up during her arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court.

She couldn’t have been that good.

The Brooklyn mom accused of savagely whipping her 2-year-old son with a bamboo rod last week and then refusing to get him medical help for two days is “pretty good,” her roommate said.

The roommate of jailed Yayun Weng was shocked to hear Weng was arrested for beating her child.

“I feel she is pretty good,” said the roommate, who didn’t give her name.

Weng’s roommate saw the victim, Ryan Gao, 2, riddled with bruises for two months but chalked it up to boys being boys, she told The News from the Sunset Park apartment she shares with Weng and Weng’s husband and son.

“I never expected it,” said the roommate.

Ryan remained in critical condition Sunday at Maimonides Medical Center as his mother faced assault and other charges.
