The man suspected of killing a 12-year-old girl and seriously injuring her mom and sister in a Brooklyn hit-and-run accident was in court two days ago facing assault and robbery charges, officials said.

Police on Thursday released a photo of Robert DeCarlo, 26, who’s wanted for plowing a stolen minivan into a family on Flatlands Avenue near Schenectady Avenue in Mill Basin around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.

He made a sudden, hard right and slammed into the mom and her daughters, witnesses said.

Little Joey Sellers, 12, was the most critically injured, authorities said.

She died at Kings County Hospital, where her mom and sister are still clinging to life, cops said.

An eyewitness believed to know DeCarlo was able to help investigators identify him as the suspect, sources said.

Investigators soon after linked him to the stolen vehicle.

DeCarlo had just been arraigned in Brooklyn criminal court July 1 and released without bail, public records show.

On March 21, DeCarlo approached a 65-year-old woman who was shopping at a food stand in Brighton Beach and robbed her in broad daylight, police said.

He pushed the defenseless woman to the ground, snatched her purse, kicked her multiple times and then fled, cops said.

He was arrested for the incident on May 23 and was charged with assault, robbery, identity theft, grand larceny and petit larceny, public records show.

He also has a prior arrest for criminal possession of a controlled substance, the records show.
