Four people were struck and seriously injured when a hit-and-run driver plowed into a bus stop in Queens on Saturday.
A hit-and-run driver seriously injured four people — including a 7-year-old girl — when he plowed into them at a Queens bus stop Saturday, officials said.
The out-of-control white Mazda was tooling along Northern Blvd. near 48th St. in Woodside at about 7:30 p.m. when it suddenly vaulted the curb and smashed through the glass enclosure, knocking helpless pedestrians into the air like bowling pins, horrified witnesses said.

“When they saw the car coming, some of the people ran,” said Chayla Querrard, 13. “The rest were just frozen. Everybody just stopped where they were. It was pretty scary to see people get hit.”
In addition to the little girl, two men, ages 23 and 26, and two women, ages 28 and 57, were taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center with nonlife-threatening injuries. One person was not hit but went for observation.
