Nearly two dozen illegal cab drivers have been caught hustling fares from Super Bowl revelers outside John F. Kennedy Airport.
Port Authority police say they arrested 10 unlicensed cabbies on Wednesday and another 11 on Thursday.
Officers also impounded nine cars and issued 14 Taxi and Limousine Commission summonses.
Authorities say several Port Authority officers patrol the airport on any given day.
But that number increases during high travel times like Thanksgiving, Christmas and this year, the Super Bowl.
Similar takedowns should be expected at other area airports as the game approaches.
