2 lived blocks apart and die in 2 unrelated shootings

The two men lived three blocks from each other on Bergen St., near where they were killed, officials said. The shootings are not believed to be related.




Two men who live on the same Brooklyn street both died after being shot in separate incidents two weeks apart.


Kalif Turner, 37, was shot once in the leg and once in the head on Pacific Street near Saratoga Avenue in Ocean Hill about 5:40 p.m. on Oct. 3, police said.

Turner was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries Wednesday.


A few block from where Turner was gunned down, Rashan Hall, 40, was shot in the head at the Kingsborough Houses in Crown Heights about 6:35 p.m. Tuesday.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital and died on Wednesday as well.

Police haven’t made an arrest in either case.
