Adam (Pacman) Jones claimed to have jawed with Rex Ryan during Sunday’s 49-9 Bengals win, but that isn’t the only Jet he verbally jabbed with. The Daily News reported early Monday that Jones took issue with WR David Nelson’s play during the game, and told the Jet, “I’m going to find out where you live and come and get you.”
Nelson confirmed Jones’ sentiment, but said he didn’t take it as a threat. Nelson was called for an unnecessary roughness penalty in the third quarter.
“If you know anything about how I play, I play physical from whistle to whistle,” Nelson said. “I’ve never had an issue with it before, I’ve never had anybody call me dirty ever in my life before, and so this is just an instance where I just think he wasn’t fond of playing against a physical receiver.
“I got flagged one time and it is what it is and I didn’t even feel like that was a dirty play. For him to call me dirty is inaccurate and not true.”

“(Nelson) was playing dirty,” Jones told Bengals.com. “He cut me like four times after the play. Thank God I took my medicine today — I guess — and I didn’t go off. Hopefully, he’ll get fined. At least three fines. There were three real cheap shots after the play.”
Jones told the team website that he also exchanged words with Ryan. “He told me to shut the hell up,” Jones said.
“Sometimes you have conversations with guys and all that stuff but I don’t recall having that conversation with him. I’ve always liked him,” Ryan said. “I guess it’s a possibility. I just don’t remember it.”

Jeff Cumberland suffered a minor concussion, according to a source. Cumberland left Sunday’s game with the injury and did not return. Cumberland’s status for the Saints game is unknown, but it is likely he will be able to recover in time… Dee Milliner was benched on Sunday for the second time this season, and Ryan hasn’t been specific about in what capacity the rookie cornerback will return to the field. “He’s got to go get back and start working,” the coach said.

Ryan responded Monday to the ESPN report that the league felt that Quinton Coples should have been flagged for a push play against New England, as Chris Jones was at the end of the game.
“Yeah, I’ve just moved past that,” Ryan said. “All we continue to do is do whatever we can to play within the confinements of the rules and that’s how we play.”

Ryan will face off against his twin brother, Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, on Sunday.
“I think the two guys, in my opinion, that are doing the best job in this league are (former Jets assistant coach and current Chiefs defensive coordinator) Bob Sutton in Kansas City and then my brother in New Orleans,” Rex Ryan said.
