Luckily for MQ, the Red Sox are the team of destiny this season. But MQ has over two months left in his season, which has been a complete disaster!
As he does before every big election, Mighty asked noted pessimist, Cazzie, for his take on the New York City mayoral election. Cazzie always votes for the person he thinks will LOSE. This way, when things go wrong during the winner’s term, Cazzie can always say, “Hey, I didn’t vote for that bum!”
“OK, Cazzie, who’s it gonna be, De Blasio or Lhota?”
“I’ll cast my vote for Joe Lhota,” Cazzie answered.
“So you think Bill De Blasio will win, but you’ll vote for Lhota? You know, Cazzie, if every voter thought like you, Joe Lhota’s our next mayor.”
“Yeah, but what are the chances of that happening, Mighty?”
