Dad of baby shot dead in stroller busted for robbery

The father of the 2-year-old boy shot dead in a stroller last month was busted Thursday for robbing a teen on a Brooklyn subway station, cops said.

Anthony Hennis, 22, who refused to help cops solve his son’s murder, was arrested after barricading himself inside the Brownsville home of the dead child’s grandfather at around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, sources said.

His brother Ammany Hennis, 20, who helped him pull the subway stick-up, was also arrested in the raid.

An anonymous tipster told police that the duo was hiding out at the Dumont Avenue location, sources said.

In the Oct. 3 robbery, the dead baby’s father allegedly punched a man, stole his watch and fled with his brother, law enforcement sources said. He then posted an image of the loot on Facebook.

A female passenger on the train recognized Anthony Hennis from newspaper photos.

Hennis had refused to help detectives investigating the slaying of his 16-month-old son, Antiq, in Brownsville on Sept. 1, sources said.

Police said the bullet that killed the boy was intended for the father.
