Richard Cagliostro was arrested for the murder of girlfriend Maryanne Rinato in March. He is expected to be arraigned Thursday afternoon.

Cops this week cuffed a 51-year-old man who they believe killed his longtime girlfriend in March, officials said.

Richard Cagliostro was arrested Tuesday for shooting and killing Maryanne Rinato, 48, in the Bensonhurst apartment they shared on Mar. 20, cops said.

Rinato was found in her bed, fully clothed, with a single gunshot wound to the head, officials said.

Sources say there were no signs of forced entry and nothing was taken — evidence that Rinato knew her killer.

Prosecutors said Rinato had been repeatedly arrested for drug possession since 1998. Her last arrest was in 2008, when she attacked a Coney Island police officer.

Police sources said Cagliostro killed Rinato during a dispute inside their 19th Ave. apartment. Investigators long suspected Cagliostro killed Rinato, but didn’t get enough evidence to warrant the arrest until this week, sources said.

Cops charged Cagliostro with murder in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon.

His arraignment was pending Thursday afternoon.
