When Le ‘Coe Willingham and the Atlanta Dream return home for the WNBA Finals they won’t be playing in the familiar confines of Phillips Arena.
Congratulations on reaching the WNBA Finals, now get out.
That’s the message Phillips Arena sent to the Atlanta Dream, giving the Eastern Conference champs the boot from their home venue in favor of “Disney on Ice: Let’s Celebrate!” according to the Gwinnett Daily Post.

The eviction means that when the best-of-five series heads to Georgia for Games 3 and 4 (if necessary), the Dream and Minnesota Lynx will play at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Ga., about 30 miles north of downtown Atlanta.

Mickey, Minnie and Disney on Ice will be at Phillips Arena for a five-day engagement.
The Disney production has a five-show engagement at Phillips Arena — which has a capacity of 18,238 compared to 13,000 at Gwinnett — that begins on Oct. 9 and wraps up on Oct. 13. Atlanta’s home games in the series fall on Oct. 10 and 13.

The arena’s management did not immediately respond to a request for comment about how the scheduling mixup came about.
And while the Dream are being forced from their home, it’ll be a homecoming of sorts for Minnesota’s Maya Moore, who won three state championships playing at Gwinnett Center
