News, 7-Eleven offer coffee and paper for $2

The Daily News’ $ 2 newspaper-and-coffee deal is doing gangbusters at 7-11.

The 7-Eleven and Daily News’ $ 2 newspaper-and-coffee deal will continue for the next four weeks.

Oh thank heaven!

New York’s Hometown Newspaper is getting a caffeine jolt thanks to a profitable partnership with 7-Eleven.

About 500 of the stores in the tristate area are participating in a promotion that offers a cup of coffee and a Daily News for only $ 2.

Since the deal started Monday, merchandisers at 7-Eleven are projecting a boost in sales after offering an extra plug for people hunting for that perfect cup of joe.

Dozens more copies of the newspaper have flown off the shelves each day, and 7-Eleven retailer Chris Stewart said he’s predicting a 10% lift in paper sales as the promotion continues for the next four weeks.

“We have certainly built a strong partnership with the Daily News, and we look forward to more opportunities as we move forward,” said Stewart.
