Another iconic Manhattan concert venue is rumored to be shutting its doors.
Sources tell NY1 the “Roseland Ballroom” will close for good this April.
The hall first opened in 1919, and then moved to this 52nd street location in 1958.
Thanks to a major overhaul in the 90′s it became a popular venue for both small bands just starting out and for bigger acts looking for a more intimate performance.
So far, there is no word on the possible reason behind the closure.
