Vernon Bramble, 47, was struck and killed by a motorist while crossing Flatbush Ave. at E. 34th St. late Friday.
A 47-year-old Brooklyn man was killed by a cold-hearted motorist who slammed into the victim and sped off, police said Saturday.
Vernon Bramble was crossing Flatbush Ave. at E. 34th St. when he was mowed down just before 10:30 p.m. Friday, police said.

The driver of a black vehicle heading south on Flatbush Ave. fled the scene.
“They left him there like he was an animal,” said Bramble’s 30-year-old niece, who declined to give her name.

“He was a very simple person who tried his best to be there for his friends and family.”
Bramble, who lived in Crown Heights, was rushed to Beth Israel Hospital with massive head trauma before he died, officials said.
