Ediberto Santana allegedly approached Rafael Alam, demanded to know why he was talking to his sister and shot him in the chest Sunday morning.
Police arrested a hothead who gunned down a 22-year-old man in the Bronx for talking to the suspect’s sister, authorities said Friday.
The victim, Rafael Alam, was sitting in the front passenger seat of a car talking to a woman on Jerome Ave. near E. 174th St. at 6:16 a.m. on Sunday when the bullets flew, cops said.
The woman’s incensed brother, Ediberto Santana, 24, approached the car, demanded to know why Alam was talking to his sister and pulled the trigger, sources said.

Alam was hit in the chest. Both Santana and his sister then fled, cops said.
Alam was rushed to Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, where he died from the wound.
Santana was charged with second-degree murder early Friday, police said.
