City Bus Driver Killed In Auto Accident On Way To Work

A city bus driver with more than 20 years on the job is dead following a Brooklyn car accident.

Rosa Eubanks, 54, was on her way to work Monday morning when the accident took place.

Police say she was driving south on Ralph Avenue, when she collided with another car at the Foster Avenue intersection.

Surveillance video appears to show the other car running a red light, then slamming into Eubanks’ car, which then hit a tractor trailer stopped at the light.

The 22-year-old man behind the wheel of the other car is in the hospital, and has not been charged.

Eubanks died at the hospital.

Her son says the whole family is heartbroken.

“I’ll remember her kind ways,” he said. “How she loved her kids passionately, how she was just a mother at the end of the day, a great friend just a great person.”

The driver of the tractor trailer was not hurt.
