Fourth Motorcyclist Is Charged in Attack on Driver of S.U.V.

The biker, Craig Wright, 29, of Brooklyn, was charged with gang assault, assault and unlawful imprisonment. He was arrested, but had not yet been arraigned late Monday, officials said.

It was not immediately clear what role he is suspected of having played in the Sept. 29 attack. Three others have been charged in relation to the chase on the Henry Hudson Parkway and the subsequent beating of the driver, Alexian Lien.

On Sunday, Reginald Chance, 37, was arraigned on several charges in the attack, including gang assault. Prosecutors said that he hit the car with his helmet and broke a window.

Prosecutors also charged Robert Sims, 35, over the weekend with gang assault and other charges for stomping on Mr. Lien’s head and body.

Another motorcyclist, Christopher Cruz, 28, was charged last week with reckless driving and unlawful imprisonment, for deliberately slowing his motorcycle to cause a collision with the car.

The police have indicated that there could be more arrests. Prosecutors have said that five or six men struck Mr. Lien with their fists, feet and helmets.
