Cops are searching for a suspect who viciously beat an elderly man for his iPhone in The Bronx.
The 69-year old man was approached by Tyler Simmerman, 22, on St. Paul avenue near Westchester avenue at around 10:30 p.m. Thursday when Simmerman brutally punched him numerous times in the head and stole his IPhone before fleeing, cops said.
The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital where he is listed in critical but stable condition, cops added.
