Riders on Metro-North’s New Haven Line can breathe a sigh of relief as the Metropolitan Transportation Authority says service will be fully restored for Monday’s morning commute.
Con Edison crews have been working to fix a problem with a feeder cable that’s been forcing limited service on the line.
The utility says a new substation began receiving power Friday.
It’s welcome news to thousands of passengers who have been dealing with traffic and crowded trains.
The MTA has been running diesel trains and cross honoring tickets along the Harlem Line.
