A new arrest has been made in the case of the motorcycle ride that turned violent in Manhattan last month.
Police say Kaliq Douglas, 28, has been arrested and charged with gang assault in connection with the incident.
Several other bikers have been charged, including a detective who prosecutors say was seen punching the window of an SUV that ran over fellow biker Edwin Mieses.
According to an internal investigation by the NYPD, as many as six off-duty officers may have been riding with the group, but not all participated in the violence.
It does not appear that Kaliq Douglas is connected to the department.
