Two men are in critical condition after a shooting in Brooklyn Friday night that left one with life-threatening injuries, authorities say.
At around 8:40 p.m., authorities were called to 202 Pennsylvania Ave. in East New York where they discovered the two men bleeding from gunshot wounds on the sidewalk in front of Muhammad Mosque.
“I heard three shots and someone yelled ‘You got me! I’m down!’” said a neighbor, who was in the backyard when he heard the gunshots. “One guy looked like he wasn’t gonna make it. The other one was hit in the back and was trying to get up.”
Both men, who authorities say are in their 20’s, were taken to Brookdale Hospital, one in serious to critical condition and the other in traumatic arrest with a gunshot wound to the chest.
