One dead in Bronx shooting


A multiple shooting in the Bronx has left one man dead and the other in stable condition, according to police.


Authorities responded to a 911 call at 680 Tinton St. in the South Bronx just after 7:00 p.m., where they discovered two men had been shot.


According to police, Tyrek Singleton, 28, of the Bronx, was fatally shot in the torso and was pronounced dead at the scene. A 26-year-old man was shot in the leg, and was transported to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.


Cops say no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
