Namon Ates, a registered sex offender. sexually harassed her, says Beverly Markus, 55.
A Brooklyn woman is suing her former employer for doing nothing when a convicted rapist coworker sexually harassed her — except for firing her when she continued to complain.
Beverly Markus, 55, who worked at Consumers Edge, a subsidiary of catalog shopping club DirectBuy, said Namon Ates, 54, would say “her legs turned him on” and propositioned “a quickie,” according to papers filed in Brooklyn Supreme Court on Friday.

Ates spent 21 years in prison for rape and was released in 2008, records show.
Markus began wearing only long pants to avoid harassment, but was then chided by management that she didn’t “dress for success,” the suit said.
Markus, of Dyker Heights, was eventually sacked in September 2012 after she stormed out following a “sexist tirade” from Ates, the document charged.
Shell Brandt, owner of the now-closed Queens-based franchise, denied axing Markus.
