A 69-year-old woman was fatally struck by a minivan as she crossed the street between two parked cars four blocks from her Brooklyn home Sunday night, police said.
Ethel Rubenstein was crossing 11th Ave. from west to east at 49th St. in Borough Park when she was hit by a 2003 Mazda MPV heading north on the avenue, police said.
The Emergency Medical Service rushed her to Maimonides Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver remained at the scene after the 10:35 p.m. accident. Police said there would be no charges.
