Construction Shed Collapse Injures Four In Midtown

Authorities believe high winds may have caused a construction shed to collapse and hurt four people in Manhattan this morning.

It happened just after 10 a.m. on West 40th Street and Seventh Avenue.

Fire officials say three people were taken to Bellevue Hospital.

A firefighter was also taken to Roosevelt Hospital with minor injuries.

The city Department of Buildings has issued a warning to property owners to secure construction sites and buildings as a high wind advisory is in effect through 2 p.m.
